Licensing Sales Coordinator

About the role

WR360 is an information security practice based in Gqeberha. We work with businesses across South Africa to help them manage their information security properly.

This role sits at the intersection of licensing administration and client-facing sales support. You will own the accuracy of our clients’ software licensing across a defined set of vendors, manage renewals and changes, and accompany team members to client meetings to support licensing discussions and identify growth opportunities.

If you are organised, commercially aware, and comfortable talking to clients, this role gives you a clear path to grow in both directions.

Key responsibilities

Licensing administration

  • Maintain accurate licensing records across all clients and vendors
  • Process renewals, upgrades and changes timeously and correctly
  • Monitor for licence drift and resolve discrepancies before they become problems
  • Stay current with vendor licensing models, pricing changes and product updates
  • Respond to internal licensing queries from the technical and account management teams

Sales and client engagement

  • Accompany account managers and technical staff to client meetings
  • Support licensing conversations and provide accurate information on the spot
  • Identify renewal and upsell opportunities within the existing client base
  • Build and maintain proactive relationships with client licence holders
  • Contribute to achieving quarterly licensing growth targets

Our approach to licensing

We do not push products. Our starting point is always the right licence and the right feature set for the client’s actual needs. Any growth targets, vendor deals or sales opportunities are evaluated against that principle first. This role is expected to reflect that approach in every client interaction and every recommendation made internally.

What we are looking for

  • Organised and accurate — you catch errors before they become problems
  • Comfortable in front of clients — professional presentation is non-negotiable
  • Commercially aware — you understand that licensing is both a service and a revenue line
  • Self-managing — you can track multiple renewals and deadlines without being chased
  • Eager to learn — vendor licensing models are complex and change often; curiosity helps

Required:

  • Valid South African driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Advantageous:

  • Prior experience in software licensing, IT procurement or technology sales
  • Familiarity with any of the listed vendors
  • Exposure to a client-facing or account management environment

Formal qualifications are not a requirement. Demonstrated ability and the right attitude will be weighted heavily, particularly for junior candidates.

What to expect

This is a full-time role in Gqeberha. Client visits form part of the role and will require use of your own vehicle. We offer a structured onboarding period with mentorship from senior team members, and a clear framework of targets and accountability from day one.
